Where to start?

This will become a place where I record memories of our life and what better memory to start this blog with than buying our first home!

It all started towards the end of the school year when we started seriously looking for a house. We found the perfect house right in the heart of Fort Thomas and made an offer. The rest as they say is history...or is it?

The hard work of making this very outdated house our home started on June 15 (the day after our second wedding anniversary) and seems as though it will never end. "History" is not quite the appropriate term for all the work that still needs to be done. Since we moved in we have stripped wallpaper, painted cabinets, renovated bathrooms and made one too many trips to Lowe's.

This is where our story begins and where our house finally starts looking like a home...this is where we will make new memories.
