You Got Me

Music really speaks to me lately.  I hear different things than I used to when I listen.  It may just be because I am still and listen a lot more than I used to.  Either way I am learning that music can really make me feel like someone else understands.  Even when the person or people that wrote the song have absolutely no idea how I feel I know there is emotion like what I am feeling for other people aside from just me and for whatever reason that is comforting.

My cousin sent me a song the other day and again the words in the song were exactly what I needed to hear at the exact moment that I needed to hear it (I love when God does that).  This particular song is by Gavin DeGraw (my favorite).  He may not necessarily be writing about God but that is what I hear when I listen to this song.  God is here when the tears take control and when the demons take over.  I am not alone.  The song is called "You Got Me" and I am thankful for this today.
