Guilty Pleasure

If you watch reality television you quickly come to realize it is not reality at all. For example, on the television show the Bachelor, we have, what some would say, an attractive pilot standing at the entrance of an enormous mansion with cocktails waiting at the door for the 26 beautiful women that await him in their limousines. Is this normally how you start your first date?

We then quickly move from lust to "love" in ten short weeks with candle lit dinners on top of beautiful buildings and private concerts or firework shows on stranded beaches. This was the scene that was set for Jake Pavelka and the 26 bachelorettes that came to visit him on the last season of the Bachelor. At the end of the season Jake decided to choose Vienna Girardi to be his fiancé in hopes to marry her soon after the show. He made his intentions clear in front of all of America and got down on one knee to propose. It was a "match made in heaven" or so they thought.

On April 22, 2010 Jake and Vienna finally faced reality. They are calling it quits and have asked for the public to respect their privacy.

Who wouldn’t want their privacy after they have shared their entire relationship on television?

I think all there is left to say is you reap what you sew and while I think this type of relationship building is a little farfetched I have to admit this television show is truly a guilty pleasure.

Fast forward several months to tonight. This time Alli is choosing and before she makes her final decision the MEN TELL ALL!
