Special Gift

We have received countless gifts and are truly appreciative of every single one of them.  I might never stop if I begin writing thank you cards to all the people that have blessed us with something, from cards to keepsakes to meals (and the list truly goes on).

Recently I received a phone call from one of my very best friends.  She had called to tell me about a gift that we would be receiving in the very near future.  This gift completely blew me away.  It was so unbelievably thoughtful and must have really taken a lot of planning and coordinating.  

My sorority sisters and Johnny's fraternity brothers from Murray decided to go in together to purchase something for us that would be in our lives for a long time.  They have given us (and the city of Fort Thomas) a new 6 foot long bench that will be going in at Tower Park.  The bench will read,

I plan on visiting that bench a lot.  It will be a special place to remember Charlie while doing what we love to do, spend time with the twins.  It will be a place in our hometown where we can all be together.

If any of you girls (and/or guys) are reading this please know that from the bottom of my heart I thank you.  I thank you for thinking of us and for making such a special thing happen in our beloved hometown.  We are looking forward to the first time we can go sit at the park on our new bench and reminisce about Charlie, our angel.  I know it will help positive memories come to light where dark memories right now may dwell.  Thank you.
