Snips, Snails, and Puppy Dog Tails

This weekend was a success.  It kind of felt like the first official weekend of summer for us since I finished my enrichment class I was teaching on Friday.  We traveled to Lexington to enjoy time with my parents, my aunt, several friends, and we even ventured down to Somerset to see my grandma.

One of my favorite things about the entire weekend was the joy I saw in my boy's eyes.  Poor guy always plays with girls and he always has to be "sweet" to the girls.  He has Macy and Kiley always telling him what to do.  And not only that but all of his mommy's friends have girls too!   It doesn't really seem fair for the poor guy.

This weekend was different though.  He was reacquainted with Nash Epperson.  It was the perfect chemistry of dirt, soccer balls, and hiding in the trees!  Johnny loved every second of it!  The picture below is better than any description I could write with words.
